Two Beans Sandwich
Ingredients:
Bread slices - 8

For Filling

French beans - 150 gm
Cooked Rajma (kidney beans) - 1½ cup
Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
Salt and pepper - to taste
Cut French beans into 1½' pieces and cook till tender. Toss with rest of the ingredients.

For Spread

Low fat yogurt or curds - 1 cup
Cumin - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1½ tsp
Salt - To taste
Sugar - 1 tsp

Two Beans Sandwich


Method

  1. Line a strainer with a thin cloth. Pour the yogurt or curds in it and let the liquid drain till it is reduced to a cup.
  2. Roast cumin and pepper. Powder coarsely and mix with salt, sugar and the thick yogurt.
  3. Spread the bread slices with the yogurt spread and sandwich two slices together with beans filling.
  4. Make four sandwiches. Cut each sandwich into two parts.
