Rice Flakes Vada (Poha Vada)
Ingredients:
2 cups Rice Flakes (Poha)
2-3 boiled Potatoes
1 Onion finely chopped
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
2-3 finely chopped Green Chillies
1 tsp Red Chilly powder
1 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Sugar
1 tbs finely chopped Coriander leaves
1 -2 tbsp Chick Pea Flour (besan)
Salt to taste

Rice Flakes Vada (Poha Vada)


Method

  1. Soak rice flakes in water for 2-3 min. Drain excess water completely.
  2. Mash boiled potatoes & add to the rice flakes. Add all the other ingredients.
  3. Make small round balls and flatten them.
  4. Fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  5. Serve hot with Ketchup or Chutney.
