Ingredients:
1 no. medium-sized raw jackfruit
1 tbsp. bengalgram flour (besan)
1 no. medium onion chopped
6 nos. green chillies chopped
1 bunch of coriander leaves chopped
1 bunch of mint leaves chopped
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 tsp. red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Raw Jackfruit Cutlet
Method
- Remove the skin of the jackfruit and cut it into large pieces.
- Boil the pieces adding salt and turmeric pwd. for 10 min.
- Take out the boiled pieces from water and smash them.
- Add the remaining ingredients (except oil), mix well and knead into a soft dough using water.
- Divide into balls, flatten into rounds and fry in oil.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce.
- Note :
- This recipe can be made more spicy according to one's taste buds by adding more of green chillies.
