Palda
Ingredients:
1 tsp - butter
1/2 tsp - cumin seeds
pinch - asafetida
2 to 3 - dried whole red chillies
turmeric powder
red chilli powder
coriander powder
salt to taste
1 cup - boiled vegetables (cauliflower potatoes peas capsicum)
1/2 litre - yoghurt (beat it gently)
coriander leaves finely chopped

Method

  1. Heat butter.
  2. Add cumin seeds, asafetida, dried red chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt.
  3. Add the vegetables and the yoghurt.
  4. Reduce the flame, keep stirring slowly for 2 mins. remove from heat.
  5. Do not allow it to boil. Garnish with coriander leaves.
