Chenna Pantua
Ingredients:
250 g - paneer
250 g - khoya
2 tbsps - maida
1 tbsp - seed of big black cardamoms
2 cups - sugar
1 tsp - essence of rose

Method

  1. Put 1 cup water in sugar and prepare a syrup of one thread consistency.
  2. Grind paneer and mix with khoya and maida and knead to a smooth dough.
  3. Divide the mixture into small balls and shape each ball into a half-moon around 2 cardamom seeds.
  4. Deep fry over a slow fire to a golden brown colour.
  5. Drain cover with foil and toss into the syrup. Sprinkle essence on top.
